A Bar / Bat Mitzvah is a momentous
occasion in a family's life. This event commemorates
the day on which, according to Jewish tradition,
a young person says farewell to childhood. This
is the day that a boy, on the completion of his
thirteenth year, and a girl, on the completion of
her twelfth year, become responsible for their actions
spiritually, ethically, and morally. Years of study
and long preparation are what a young boy or girl
endure in order to become bar or bat mitzvah.
Capturing this important religious
event, when permitted, and the celebration that
follows make this day a memorable one for years
to come. It is one of the proudest days in a parent's,
as well as a child's life.
